So the reality is for making our voice clear is practice. There are some food also which we can take. Some people believes that green chilly is good for our voice ,it makes our voice more clear and sweeter, but its wrong. It is for those who sings once in a year, in true sense this concept is not good for them also.
Some people says not to eat non-veg but to eat veg. Its also a wrong concept. The Bade Ghulam Ali Khan was a non-vegetarian and he eats it in large quantity. So nothing is like veg or non-veg. Everybody is familiar with bade khan sahab’s gayaki.

Some people says that chapati is good for the voice in comparing to the rice as rice is quite cool for the health. Its not correct, we can have every thing but we have to practice a lot. Yes, there are some food that is prohibited for singing. Actually it is depend on voice quality. It defer mam to mam… Suppose my voice is husky and airy so sour things like pickles is suitable for me even some thing made with the help of sour things that will affect my voice. There are some food that I don’t use because these things affected my voice like; Cold drinks, Pani puri, Imli pani, Pickle etc. It is not necessary for all because voice quality is not same for all. Just believe in your practice and do regular riyaz, your voice will be safe.

अगर आप कोई नशा करते हैं तो सावधान, जैसे गुटका, शिखर, खैनि, सिगरेट, शराब इत्यादि, ये सभी चीज़ें गायकी और गले के लिए हानिकारक है
आप रियाज़ खाना खाने के पहले या बाद मे कभी भी कर सकते हैं, हाँ पाँच से दस मिनिट का आराम लेकर रियाज़ करना सही है
Some people asked me that, Can i do riyaz after meal or lunch ?
Suppose, I have taken my meal and after a rest for 5 minutes. I will practice all the palta and alankar in a right way. The viewers who are reading this article for the first time can follow the palta (all basic singing lesson) given on my YouTube page. If you will practice the palta your voice will become clear itself you don’t have to eat something like that for clear or to make your voice sweet. There are some sour food items which effects my voice. Not every people suffers from same problem but it affects many. Some soft drinks like cold drinks that makes shrillness(you can say bad voice) in the neck, it will not effect in the first time but if you will take in excess quantity or as regular, it will definitely harm your voice. So these things will effect or harm your voice, do not take it either its alcohol or any cold drinks.
One more thing, You should use normal filtered water. If you use water of refrigerator it will harm your voice. Bad things for your voice is eg; Refrigerator water, Cold drinks, Alcohols, Wines, Tobacco materials like Shikhar, Gutka etc.
So for making the voice clear our first work is to practice a lot.
