representatives of Indian classical music from Kolkata. A disciple of his father
Pandit Alok Lahiri, Abhisek ji has performed across more than 20 countries and is known for his
soulful playing, technical brilliance, and genre-bending collaborations that bring new dimensions
to traditional Indian music. He has played at many prestigious venues all over the world and
collaborated with global artists through projects like IONAH and EMME. Twice nominated for
the GiMA Awards, Abhisek ji is known for his soulful yet inventive style. He also served as an ICCR
cultural delegate and one of the youngest A grade Sarod Artist of Prasar Bharati
